This is officially my first album in its creation, but has been on hold since the end of 2002. It is titled Unknown because of the great uncertainty that has surrounded every aspect of the project from the very start, and also because I am an unknown artist producing a musical concoction that takes an approach and style unknown to many.

A more guitar-dominated (less electronic) project than Essence, and with a greater funk vibe, there are still plenty of unusual time signatures and exotic scales. And of course it will be drenched in guitar solos! Will be recorded with live drums and bass, from Andy Pomfret and Matt Russell respectively.

Provisionally, I am hoping that a 2004 release will be possible: watch this space...

UPDATE:
Oh well, 2004 has NOT seen the recording of this album, and I now have a backlog of enough guitar riffs to cram 3 long rock/funk instrumental albums with! Time, money and logistics have proved too difficult to make any headway with recording, but I am determined to make it happen eventually... one day...
